Exit Dublin on the N7 and head in the direction of Naas, Kildare and Portlaoise.
In Portlaoise take the N8 on to Cashel.
Drive through Cashel, continue on to the N8, bypassing Cahir on to Mitchelstown.
Continue through Mitchelstown and at the top of the town turn right for Mallow on the N73.
When you arrive in Mallow, drive up the Main Street and take the N72 heading towards Killarney.
Continue to Rathmore, turn left at Barraduff on the R570 and continue on to Glenflesk.
In Glenflesk, turn left and travel for 3 miles on the N22.
Then turn right on to the R569 for Kenmare.
Continue for 17 miles through Kilgarven on to Kenmare.
