Built in the 18th century, the WANDER INN GUESTHOUSE & BAR was originally one of the town buildings, and is part of the historical town plan of Kenmare.
Taken over by the Quills family in 2006, the property was renovated and the accommodation section was kept in the historic traditional Victorian style that it was originally designed in. Now an 11 bedroom Boutique Style family run property, the guesthouse has a warm and friendly atmosphere with a plush interior and a focus on the authentic Irish experience.
All 11 bedrooms and bathrooms at the WANDER INN GUESTHOUSE & BAR are tastefully decorated to a very high standard and equipped with all of the modern comforts demanded by today's discerning traveler. Standard features include King sized beds, TV, hairdryers, tea, coffee making facilities, safe, direct dial telephone and parking nearby.
"The Wander Inn" is a Traditionally Irish themed pub with a contemporary twist. During the season there is live Traditional Irish Music five nights a week. A good lively atmosphere in the evenings, with Craic agus ceoil guaranteed with a strong local trade bringing atmosphere and enjoyment.
